Kenneth B. Nilsen, 87, U S Army veteran of WWII. Beloved husband of 58 years to Beatrice nee Kerner. Dear son of the late Elsie nee Munson and the late Norman B. Nilsen. Son-in-law of the late Beatrice and the late Joseph Koepke. Loving brother of Alice (the late Jack) Rasmussen. Fond brother in law of Margaret (the late Peter) Tortora. Proud uncle of John (Sue) Rasmussen, Russell (Lori) Rasmussen, Jill (Van) Wintz, Pamela (Brian) Knoll, the late Robert Quinn, the late Kathleen Quinn and many great nieces and great nephews. Retired longtime employee of Illinois Bell. Ken was an avid Chicago sports fan, a proud gardener and cherished his many adorable cats. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 4, 2012, 11:30 am at St Juliana Church, 7201 North Oketo (at Touhy), and Chicago. Family and friends will be meeting at church at 11:15 am.
