Marilyn D. Valavanis, nee Dumond, 48, of Barrington Hills, IL. Beloved wife of Dean N. Valavanis. Loving daughter of Ruth, nee Herold and the late Thomas P. Dumond. Loving sister of Susan, Alan (Jie) and Michael (Patti) Dumond. Dear sister in law of William (Diane) and Ted (Kathryn) Valavanis. Proud aunt of Alia (Michael), Nicholas and Christopher. Great aunt of Joseph. Marilyn will be missed by her cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marilyn was a graduate of Loyola and Northeastern Illinois University and a fourteen year employee of the United States Department of Labor. Visitation Friday from 4 until 8 PM at The M.J.
